How important is communication to developing an economy? Will Starlink Satellite enable the world's economies grow?
How important is communication to developing an economy?
Will Starlink Satellite enable the world's economies grow?
What will that mean to you as an individual?
Global communication is of utmost importance to growing a global company but there are also opportunities for people to create industry in a smaller degree. How are you going to take advantage of these changes and will it make life better for you.
On the educational side it will hopefully give kids the opportunity to educate themselves and give them a better chance in life. However there are a lot of communities without water and electricity. If these communities are able to tap into this network they will be able to get opportunities that they would never have been able to get.

What is better for your business Slack or Microsoft Teams?
I have started to use Slack and Microsoft Teams to see if I can improve my workflow in the office. I am not sold on either of them yet.
Besides for the amount of resources that both platforms use and how much they slow down my computer, I don't really find them all that useful. I do think that if you are a Microsoft person and all your apps are Microsoft Apps you might think that Teams is the better option but if you are a Google Workplace, or Facebook Workplace person then you would prefer Slack.
I will continue to give both of them a good test and will come back with a better, more educated opinion in a couple of months time. But until then enjoy this video talking about the history of Slack.
What do you think about both platforms? Are there any other platforms that you can recommend? Are we just going back to MSN with a little more functionality?

The GaryVee Content Strategy: How to Grow and Distribute Your Brand's Social Media Content
Original Story Here
My content strategy is predicated on a “reverse pyramid” model.
It starts with a piece of “pillar content.” With my personal brand, it takes the form of a daily vlog, keynote, Q&A show, or another video that I do.
Since I start from video, my team is able to repurpose that one piece of content into dozens of smaller pieces of content, contextual to the platforms that we distribute them to.
This could take many different forms — for example, if you’re not comfortable on video, you could record a podcast. You might even film yourself recording the podcast so you could have a video out of it as well. And from that video or audio clip, you can create content for Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.
Personally, I create a ton of content. I publish a new episode everyday on the GaryVee Video Experience, which is distributed on my YouTube channel, Facebook Watch Page, and IGTV. I then also have a daily podcast called the GaryVee Audio Experience, which is distributed on my iTunes, Overcast, and Stitcher, amongst some other platforms.
In addition to what I just mentioned, I continually post “micro content”, that is distributed to my Instagram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Quora, and many of my other social channels.
“Micro content” is created from each episode and is used to drive awareness back to the original long-form content. Long story short, I am constantly creating and posting as much content as possible and in a way that is contextual to each platform.
Because I am producing so much content on a daily basis and in a way that has been proven to be very effective, I want to give you guys the full breakdown and analysis on what it is that I’m doing and how I am doing it. Like one of my favorite quotes, “watch what I do, not what I say“, this is a really good time for you to sit down, grab a cup of coffee, and carefully take note of what it is that I’m doing in this deck.
Think about how it can be applied to your personal brand, your B2C product, or your B2B marketing strategy.
Shared below is a powerpoint that my team and I created to help empower and potentially completely shift the way that you think about producing and distributing content online for your brand.
The ultimate goal of creating this presentation on my content model is to show you how my team took one of my keynotes, repurposed it into 30+ pieces of content, and then successfully distributed all of that content, resulting in over 35,000,000 total views.
I’m very proud of this deck and sincerely hope that it brings you, your team, or your company some serious value.

Managing Emotions in Challenging Circumstances - John Demartini
- Set goals that are more grounded and more realistic.
- Ask yourself, “What are the highest priority action steps I can do today to make this happen? What obstacles might I run into and how do I solve them in advance so I’m prepared with foresight and not being broadsided because of my fantasy. What worked and what didn’t work today and how do I do it more effectively and efficiently?”
- Don’t get attached to labels of “success” and “failure” because they will run your life.
- Get focused – the fantasy of success without failure is just that, a fantasy.
- Get grounded – start working towards your objectives with daily high priority actions.

Introduction to the six laws of the mind ~ by John Kehoe
John Kehoe, #1 best-selling author teaches the 6 laws of the mind. These laws are integral to learn and understand when you begin to work with the powers of the mind.
Robin Banks is the only other person that has been approved to train John's Mind Power courses. he has recently run his first completely online course and if busy preparing for another course. As soon as I get more detail I will post them on the Facebook page.
1 – Thoughts Are Real Forces - The first law of the mind: thoughts are real forces. Every thought we think is a force, an energy, and is having an effect in our life. 2 – The Law of Transmission - the second law is the law of transmission. The law of transmission states that the mind is a sending and receiving station of thought. You see, the thoughts that we think don’t remain within our mind. Actually, energetically they’re traveling through the energy grid system of all reality, creating causes and having effects. 3 – The Law of Attraction - Law number three is the law of attraction. And that states that thoughts that are emotionalized, thoughts that are thought with emotion, act like a magnet attracting similar and like thoughts. 4 – The law of control - The fourth law is the law of control. The law of control states that we are forever thinking thoughts – but we have the power and the ability to either entertain them or dismiss them. 5 – The law of insertion - The fifth law is the law of insertion. It states that we have the power and the ability to insert any thought of any type into our mind. Every day I think thoughts of happiness and inner peace. 6 – The law of connection - The final law is the law of connection. The law of connection states that the inner and outer worlds are connected. The inner world is the world of our thoughts. The outer world is the world of the circumstances and situations that happen to us.

10 Lessons Every Entrepreneur Should Learn About Their Business by Tomer Bar-Zeev
Tomer Bar-Zeev - CEO and Co-Founder of ironSource
Original Extract
I co-founded a company 10 years ago, and in that decade we've closed seven M&As, expanded our operations, dramatically increased revenue and forged strategic partnerships. But of course this journey had its fair share of highs and lows. Here are 10 things I've learned that I think can be helpful to any entrepreneur.
Know when to say no to a deal
Early on, an investor offered $25 million to acquire ironSource, even upping the bid to $40 million two months later. We turned the offer down. When you’re in this position, it’s critical to deeply question yourself and to be brutally honest. I certainly was. If your goal is to create something and then move on to your next challenge once your business grows beyond a certain point, then saying yes to a deal makes perfect sense. But if you believe in the long-term potential of your company and are someone who genuinely wants to see your vision through its different growth cycles, then don’t be afraid to hang on. You’ll be in for quite the ride.
Inorganic growth is unavoidable if you want to build a long-term business
At first, organic growth might seem like a viable long-term strategy, but relying on it alone simply doesn’t cut it in today’s fast-paced, competitive market. From very early on, we knew that the only way our company could grow and compete was to be aggressive about strategic M&As. Organic growth should be a fundamental building block of every company’s trajectory, but it can't be the only element.
Buy based on DNA, not (only) on numbers
Our approach to acquisitions is largely shaped by the culture of the acquired or merged company, due to my belief that numbers don’t tell the whole story. We look for a fundamental alignment of interests as well as a shared DNA. Focusing on acquiring companies that share our vision has meant that the executives from these deals have, in most cases, stayed on board. Consider looking beyond spreadsheets and into the culture of the team at the other company. If there’s a common DNA that will strengthen your journey forward, then you’re headed in the right direction.
Create a culture that enables radical trust
I believe that trust — not just standard trust, but radical trust — is the best way to get the most out of talented employees and push your company forward. When I say radical trust, I mean letting your trusted employees run with their visions and exercise their strengths. It is something that we apply to all areas of our company. It has led us to many failed ventures, but more importantly, it has delivered products and concepts that have become essential to its core. Creating and maintaining a culture of radical trust ensures that each and every one of your team members feel empowered and have the confidence and resources they need to leverage their strengths in an environment that radically supports them.
Don’t wait for someone else to make the right decision
Contrary to popular belief, good things don’t always come to those who wait. In 2017, we launched ironWeekend, an initiative that gives employees an extra day off over the weekend every quarter. The government in Israel, where we're based, had been considering legislating something like this for a while, but why wait for something you believe in? We rolled the concept out across all of our global offices, and three years later ironWeekend is still flourishing. Never wait for someone else to make the right decision for you.
Have pointless conversations
Communication in genuine and unceremonious ways builds valuable and interesting connections. As important as it is to have actionable discussions that propel your company forward, it’s equally as important to have interactions with no set goal. In a world where every second of every day is optimized, invest in building real human connections. Having pointless conversations with employees will help you get to know them on a personal basis, learn what drives them and discover their interests. Pointless conversations are somewhat of a rarity these days, but conversations are the building blocks of strong relationships.
Daughters know best
While traveling in the car with my daughter, I was on loudspeaker with a colleague who was putting pressure on me to go to an event that I was resisting attending. My daughter was paying attention (unbeknownst to me) and blurted out that the event sounded important to my colleague, and “if you help him now, he’ll help you out one day when you need something.” Important lesson learned from my 8-year-old.
In negotiations, know your red line
Human nature is such that the more emotionally invested we get into something and the more time we dedicate to it, the further we’ll go to get it and the harder it is to stick to our boundaries. If you’re in negotiations without pre-setting limits with yourself then, guaranteed, you will end up crossing the line and be disappointed with yourself later on. No matter what you’re negotiating, it’s always important to remember where you need to draw the line. And it’s equally as important to know your limits (but not to share it with others of course). Set boundaries, be disciplined and you’ll be able to come out of most negotiations well.
In times of crisis, be flexible
As the current situation has taught me, it’s critical to be open-minded and flexible when the unknown hits you. Take internal mobility as an example. Although some roles in the company have technically disappeared or are experiencing a very reduced workload, I’m working with my team to see how we can reallocate our manpower to teams who need extra support with those who aren’t at full capacity. Not everyone will be a perfect match, but it allows us to retain our employees, which is massively important while we weather this storm. What’s more, it creates an opportunity for someone to try and potentially excel in an area of the business they would otherwise never have exposure to.
Don’t take yourself too seriously
...but do take your work very seriously. This is a deceptively simple formula that I try to live by, and that has trickled through ironSource to become a defining characteristic of our DNA. People who take themselves seriously are exhausting to be around. You spend time managing their ego as opposed to focusing on what really matters or what’s most interesting. And people who don’t take their work seriously are ultimately people who aren’t striving for excellence, aren’t focused on looking at the bigger picture and aren't thinking about how to do better tomorrow.

Cash Flow Clarity: A Monthly Model to Manage the Year Ahead
Bracing for the worst calls for some serious financial analysis. To avoid hitting the wall by running out of cash, we need to make sure you can line up the resources you're going to need to get through the worst case scenario. Having worked out your Break-Even Sales level, we'll see what can be done to lower it, through out-sourcing and cost-cutting. But we can't afford to be so radical that we kill the goose that may lay tomorrow's golden egg.
A Helping Hand to Raise Your Resilience
We entrepreneurs are now at the sharp end of the steepest, deepest economic down-turn the world has ever seen. We are being stretched to destruction in financial and human terms, simultaneously. The challenges we face are colossal; both in finding the funding to survive and in coping with the shock and horror of the sheer scale and unfairness of the suffering we are facing. People are scattered right across the Kübler-Ross Grief Cycle, from Denial and Anger to Bargaining, Depression and Acceptance. But as business leaders, the sooner we can work through to Acceptance, the sooner we can summon our teams to survive and ultimately thrive.
A Blueprint for (re-)Building Value
Time to look up! When coping with a crisis, we tend to see nothing but negatives. That's natural. But we need to search for bright spots too; it would be a shame to miss them, wouldn't it? We need to scour the skies for silver-linings and opportunities to do things differently. Bearing in mind that there are 3 building blocks of value in a business (Stand-Alone, Synergies and Strategic Benefits for a partner), explore what can be done to build each block. If progress in one area is on-hold, see what can be done in others. I've sold plenty of loss-making businesses in my career, which just goes to show that poor or negative stand-alone value can be outweighed by other benefits a business can offer a potential partner. And competition works wonders!
Because we Entrepreneurs are all now facing an unprecedented crisis, and because I (ultimately) learned lessons from the Global Financial Crisis of 2008 which I wish I'd known earlier.
David Young has got a course that will help you with the above.

This is a famous interview that Simon did in 2018 for Team Fearless. It gives you the prespective about Millenials and what they want and how they think. Are You Helping Others Or Making Them Helpless? - Michael Johnson
Get access to Michael Johnson's online business growth hub.
Dominate | Online Business Growth Hub
Written by Michael Johnson
Have you ever questioned weather you’re actually helping those around you….
OR
If you’re just making them helpless by over-supporting them?
Many try to help others as they believe it makes them a good person by doing so, yet there is a fine line between helping and hindering (making a person helpless).
It is important to understand that optimum growth in an individual happens with an equal balance of challenge and support.
Those who over support others do so at the detriment of those they are trying to help.
(This is usually due to a poor understanding around personal responsibility and how self worth, self belief and resilience are all built from overcoming our own challenges.)
What happens when someone is made helpless?
When there’s minimal action, minimal responsibility and a lack of courage around a persons actions….. pain is created to help them learn, adapt and grow.
When a person tries to help someone without holding them accountable to their own growth and expansion then it causes the individuals self worth to be reduced. Over time this causes them to become needy.
Sometimes the greatest gift a person can give to another is supporting them to take on big challenges within their life and holding them accountable to their own commitments.
If you really want to help others (including yourself) remember that optimum growth happens when challenge and support are balanced and that self worth is created from having the courage to push your own limitations.

Do you have the right mindset to be a Millionaire? John Assaraf can assist you in getting your mindset right
Get your mindset right in John's 7 days to a Millionaire Mindset right here
In the below post by John originally published here John talks about three valuable techniques to help develop your mindset.
Are you finally ready to begin earning the income you want and deserve? If you're willing to take action and develop the mindset of a millionaire, you're in the right place.
Millionaires know there’s an abundance in the universe. Millionaires know what money is all about. They value their abilities; they value who they are; they value their knowledge; they hone their skills and back their ideas with a solid plan. That’s why they’re millionaires.
In this video, you'll find out what it takes to think, act, and feel like a millionaire. Watch and learn how to train your brain to accomplish goals. Here's to your success!
1. Understand what money is . . . and your personal relationship with it.
Money is a means for fair exchange between those involved with transactions such as trading and investing. So money is nothing more than an idea . . . and ideas are nothing more than electromagnetic energy.
What I have discovered from the people I know who are millionaires, is that they understand the concept of trade. They understand what it takes for business success.
If they have a product or a service, or an idea, or knowledge that people want, they know that those 10 or 100 or 1000 people will be willing to trade their cash or make electronic credit card transfer for what they want and/or need.
Money is an idea . . . but more than that, it's just a means of exchange that we use every day. There are different ways to earn more money, but the first thing to think about is: how do I develop a relationship with money that helps me figure out how to use my skills to create wealth?
Reflect on this. What product or skills do you have to exchange with others?
The people who are making a lot of money today are somehow creating this exchange on a local or international level.
You could make money buying real estate, and in the transaction of purchase a property from somebody, you’re helping them. You’re giving them money for their goods. If you fix it up and then sell it again, then you’ve done the work of fixing it up and finding another buyer . . .
In every area of life, whether it’s the real estate market, the stock market, or your service, it’s a means of exchange. There's so much money in the world, right? The question is, are you going to get your share?
2. Value yourself first and foremost.
There’s a saying: “We don’t see the world as it is. We only see the world as we are.”
The money results you’re experiencing are a mirror of your internal financial blueprint. When you change your internal blueprint and financial self-image, you transform your outside results. And when you value yourself first and foremost, you increase your deserving level through a new self-worth vibration and resonance.
Why do most lottery winners who receive millions of dollars lose it so fast? The loss happens because their entire being (subconscious and conscious mind) doesn't place value on the fact that now they have tons of money and a new lifestyle.
When you have low self-esteem . . . and you don’t feel you deserve a lot of money, then it's going to disappear quickly.
But when you value these things and you feel worthy, when your self-worth is high, you're going to keep the dough, go on the vacations you deserve, and enjoy your wealth.
Even if you already know how to make more money because you have the knowledge and the skills . . . if you don’t value yourself and have the belief that you are worthy, then you’re going to struggle to achieve your full potential and financial well-being.
Either that or you’ll achieve success but then sabotage it because the success outside doesn’t match what you believe you deserve on the inside. Make sense?

3. Hone your skills and make a plan.
Because so few people are willing to invest in themselves for one hour a day, most people never reach their full potential. And it's not because most people don’t have the potential . . .
It's because they don’t have the discipline to practice and hone their skills. If you can imagine just one hour of each day to focus on getting better at what you love to do, it would be one of the best uses of your time.
Since there is no such thing as time management, the only thing you can manage is what you do in time if you can start teaching yourself how to do high impact activities that move you forward and high-income activities, then you have a head start on how you create your millionaire mindset.
You will get paid in direct proportion to the service and value you bring to the marketplace for which you charge. Remember, money is part of a value system and the more you get people to value what you offer, the more you will earn . . .
Ask yourself these questions:
What must I learn?
What skills must I upgrade?
What beliefs and habits must I develop?
What beliefs and habits must I release?
Who can help me achieve this?
When you are clear about what you must do, it's time to create a plan and start taking immediate action.
Money is easy to earn if you do a few things right, and it will forever elude you if you ignore these basic principles.
To earn more money, you must have the right mindset (a success mindset), skillset, and action set.
